A Short Story: The Lost Dog

Read the story:

Max was a happy dog who lived with the Brown family. One sunny Saturday, the family went to the park. Max saw a squirrel and ran after it. He ran and ran until he couldn't see his family anymore.

Max was lost! He didn't know how to get home. He walked through the streets, looking for something he recognized. Then he smelled something familiar - Mrs. Wilson's bakery!

Max remembered the way home from the bakery. He ran down Baker Street, turned left at the big tree, and there was his house! The Brown family was so happy to see him.

"Never run away again, Max!" said little Emma, hugging her dog.
