When you meet people, you need to know how to greet them and have simple conversations. Let's learn some useful phrases!
- Hello! / Hi!
- Good morning! (morning)
- Good afternoon! (afternoon)
- Good evening! (evening)
Asking how someone is:
- How are you?
- How are you doing?
- Are you OK?
Answering:
- I'm fine, thank you.
- I'm good, thanks!
- I'm OK.
- Not bad!
- Bye!
- See you!
- See you later!
- See you tomorrow!
More formal:
- Goodbye!
- Have a nice day!
- Take care!
- Please (vær så snill)
- Thank you / Thanks (takk)
- You're welcome (bare hyggelig)
- Sorry (unnskyld)
- Excuse me (unnskyld, for å få oppmerksomhet)
