English is spoken in many countries around the world. Let's learn about some of the main English-speaking countries and their cultures!

The United Kingdom (UK)
The UK includes:
- England (capital: London)
- Scotland (capital: Edinburgh)
- Wales (capital: Cardiff)
- Northern Ireland (capital: Belfast)

Famous things:
- The Royal Family and Buckingham Palace
- Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament
- Double-decker buses and red telephone boxes
- Fish and chips
- Tea and scones

Fun fact: The UK is smaller than Norway, but has about 67 million people!

The United States of America (USA)
Facts:
- Capital: Washington, D.C.
- 50 states
- About 330 million people
